About the Book
The only thing ten-year-old Birger wants is to see the world outside his tiny village of Birkie Burbia. The annual Troll Bowl will be his ticket out. If he can capture one of the magical creatures, he’ll score a job working for the King of Norway! But if he fails, he’ll face a life sentence in his town’s Department of Goat Waste Management, where his dreams will meet a quick—and smelly—demise. Birger is positive he’ll catch a troll . . . until his rule-breaking nemesis unleashes a monster. If Birger can’t turn the Troll Bowl around, his dream job will be lost, his village will be squashed, and the entire Birkebeiner tribe will meet an extremely painful end. Birkie Burbia has a giant problem. And it’s up to Birger to fix it.
