Being a writer is such an amazing gift. Writers get to stretch our imaginations to the limit, share our imaginary friends with anyone crazy enough to listen to us, fulfill our creative muses, and stare at photos of Alexander Skarsgard all day for "research." Oh, wait. That's just me? We're so incredibly blessed to get to do what we do, and doubly blessed to have amazing readers who will jump headfirst onto our crazy journeys with us. I'm so, so grateful to be a part of this community.
But writing can also be a smidge isolating. After all, to get those lovely Norse gods' voices OUT of my head, I have to sit at my keyboard ALL BY MY LONESOME and type until the crew has said their peace and I get my head back to myself. #ItsCrowdedInThere And from time to time, writing can be a wee tad frustrating. Sometimes the words JUST WILL NOT COME OUT THE WAY I WANT THEM TO. LIKE, AT ALL. And in those moments, I turn to my writer friends.
I've been insanely blessed to have met some of the kindest, most generous writers in all the realms. And one of my very best writer friends is Stacey Nash. She's a Young Adult writer who's taking her first venture into the world of New Adult. And she's doing it her way. Her debut NA novel, Shh!, is definitely going to make you blush, but not for the reasons you're thinking. It's original, and sassy, and wonderful, and leaves you with a big ole' smile. Just like my friend Stacey. :)
Congratulations, Stacey, on your epic debut. It releases February 23rd, and y'all are going to LOVE the hunky hero, Logan. Until then, you can enjoy the cover for Shh! Isn't it gorgeous?
Nineteen-year-old Olivia Dean has the perfect reputation, the perfect boyfriend, and an increasingly perfect CV. She has it all, until Christian breaks up with her in public, calling her out as a self-gratifying sexoholic: the kind that plays solo. But Olivia doesn’t masturbate all night — the only thing she does is sleep … right?
Now all the boys on campus seem to want her attention for the absolutely wrong reason — including resident hottie, Logan Hays. He's pulling out his best moves to gain her attention, so resisting his sexy charm is hard work. With rapidly slipping grades, a disturbingly lurid reputation and demanding parents, Olivia must discover the truth behind her rumoured sleeping problem. If she doesn't, the perfect life she's worked so hard for may slip away, including the one person who has Olivia breaking all her rules — Logan.
What do you do when you’re asleep?
Shh! is a story about acceptance, learning to trust and in turn love while facing life's unexpected difficulties.
This book is of a mild heat level, and contains no explicit sex scenes.
